Brian grew up in Germantown, TN and was a member at Germantown Baptist Church, where he was saved and called into ministry. He met his wife Kristen while they were in college at The University of Alabama. After graduating they moved to Louisville, KY for a couple years for Brian to attend seminary. In 2012 they moved to Texas where Brian started full time ministry. The Wirgeses have been at FBC Dyersburg since 2016. They have three sons; Parker, Hudson, and Dawson.
Brian’s aim in ministry is to come alongside parents in discipling their children, leading and equipping them to live by faith in Jesus for the rest of their lives. He loves to spend time with his family, coach his boys’ sports teams, watch his students in their sports and extra curricular activities, cheer for Alabama sports (not just football!), and watch college football.
